Hi Tommy S,
Thats very impressive work you are doing transcribing the names and adresses of all Curragh residents. I have just come to realise that I lived in McDonagh for the first four years of my life, but as I do not remember much about it,and I chose to block it out, I am Pearse through and through. UP PEARSE!!! Well done Tommy. Trish.

Hi Tommy,
It's Eileen here, Kathy's sister, she is in the process of moving house in the next week or so and has disconnected her computer so hasn't had any access to the site. I'm not sure if we lived in 14 McDonagh Tce, only ever remember living in No. 34 but will ask Kathy when I see her on Tuesday - she has a much better memory than myself.
Take care.
Eileen

Hi Trish, Even though you lived in Mc Donagh for the first four years of your life, you were still born in the Families Hospital in PEARSE! so there is no need to block that frightful memory of having lived in Mc Donagh out of your mind. Glad to have you back on Board and say hello to your Mam, and best wishes for your Dad. Regards JoeyK (Up Pearse)!!!

Hi Tommy,
When we were all getting vaccinated for small pox, Doc Cahill ran out of scrapers and used his pen knife on a lot of the kids, he must have used a gramophone needle to scrape the skin off the arms of the Kellys. You'd think Pearse was the Blackrock of the Camp the way they go on and sure everyone knows McDonagh was.
Rose.

Hi Kathyo, Thanks for the reply, the reason I asked was that some people you meet in life leave an impression and I remember a Mrs O Brien from No.14 and have often wondered about her after she left McDonagh, maybe it was something to do with getting what I seem to remember as a fortune for my communion. Anyway I thought that you may have being her daughter and was just checking. Thanks Tommy H
