Hi all, let us count our blessings that at least we are able to get about during the Irish Monsoon, My heart goes out to the rest of the country who are plagued by flood year after year and let us not forget that a lot of these people would have lived or served in the Curragh. I hope the people we put in charge to look after our affairs do something about this, not like the finances of this country Andy

Hi Andy and All Talking about the floods i see orchard pk got it again today looks like nothing was done to prevent it happening after the last time. My heart goes out to the people all over the country who have been hit with the flooding, and once again its the Army lads who are always on hand both young and old what would we do without them, well done to all involved. Hi Ger, Yes today is a telling one for Kildare flood wise Suncroft cut off from the rest of the world. Orchard Park to best of my memory was built on a wet land I have a recollection of swans and ducks there at times throughout the year. Yes people are lucky to have the Army to call upon during times of crises.
Another place constantly under water Lakeside Newbridge
Feel sorry for all these people
Andy

Hi Geraldine, Are you still having rain at home or is it just icy now, while I was home I haven't seen rain like that for a long time, it's the same here, but I'm lucky where I live, and don't have any floods. (T.G.) Cheers Mary C

Hi Ann, You have it in one number 3C Block later to become Clarke Terrace. Beside us The Reidy Family other side Confery's Foleys upstairs Reilly just to name a few all good people still run into the odd one but have difficulty remembering them at times. I remember all your brothers but as usual the faces are the ones from long ago the uptodate version does not click. Afraid I can not put a face to your name but give it time. If you are called out on the baby run dont hesitate to use the ambulance services those experts are also expert drivers best of luck. Andy

How goes it Jerry. Maybe it was not that bad but if you saw it to day you might think you were in the everglades if only the crocs in the dail and their snakes were in it it would be so, the newbridge side of the camp never seen as many lakes at one time on both sides of the road but with the winter sunshine it looked very picturesque but who needs it
You are ok near the sea all you need is a very big bass broom to shove it back into the sea
cheers Andy
