Hi All, Just thought I'd check in, it's 06.04 Thursday morning here in Melbourne and the weather just lovely much better than the snow, it was 43 degrees here Monday much too hot and 36 degrees at night, a little cooler now in the low 30's but bearable. Today is the day I'm suppose to wear my leprachaun outfit, we'll see just waiting for the rest of the Tour of Duty to get here apparently there are over 100 of us, lovely no pressure then.
Hi Eileen, don't know any B&B's in Newbridge but hope you find a good one and have a lovely time, hopefully the Morden Platoon will meet up before you go.
Cheers Mary C

Hi to Anthony and Fellow Platoon Members,
I met with another former Camper, Mike Tennyson (Ceannt Tce) here in the Big Apple. We remininced over lunch. If there are any other Curragh, Kildare or beyond folks out there, I'd like to start with a section, at least for the moment. We may even grow into a Platoon.
Cheers,
Brendan

Hi Brendan,
Would'nt that be grand to get a squad, platoon or greater going on another continent. Would that Mike be a son of John Joe and brother to that great Kilkenny Hurler,
Andy

Hi All, Well I wore my leprachaun outfit yesterday when all the Perth Glory fans turned up to the hotel, but it took 3 glasses to have the courage to wear it, but a hit, but that was my drinking for the day, went out last night couldn't drink, what a light weight, but today is another day. Waiting for friends to get up to go for breakfast, I'm so use to getting up at 5am, same here, while everyone sleeps. Big game of footy later between the veterans and the vir gins, should be fun, then the big game tomorrow between Perth Glory and Melbourne, just hope Perth win, then off to Adalaide on Sunday to watch them play again on Tuesday night. Hi Mary, Just looking at the World News on CNN it appears that a Leprachaun was seen heading to Perth, jumping up and down the road singing the "Curragh of Kildare" followed by a couple of ROOs, can you shed any light on that?

Hi Kathyo and Eileen marie. So glad to see that you are planning a visit to Ireland In March, if you are having any probs with B&B give me a shout and I will recommend a few. I suppose there would be no chance of Christy tagging along? Would love to see him again.
Regards JoeyK
