Curragh Camp National School Choir - 1953

Hi All

An old photograph from over 60 years ago on The Curragh. A special thanks to May O'Shea who gave me to photograph to copy. And to be honest I forgotten the name May told me who had the original, but thanks to them also.

So anybody know any of the children in the photograph ?

Too early for me Matt, but the statue in the background looks like the one that stood in the hallway of the Families hospital for years.

Hi Matt,

I took the liberty of numbering the Choir photograph and hope that it will make the identification of the 51 individuals that bit easier. Does May have any info on the names of the choristers?

Don't think this is what the title says.
Don't recognise anyone here.
My eldest sister was at Curragh National school, age 11 (1953) and in the church choir. She was at the time a potential 'all Ireland (Sligo Feis) under 16 winner of Telinvolved in every choir pupel a member of every choir
