Hi All The 90th Anniversary of The Curragh Camp Hand Over from the departing British Forces took place recently at The Curragh. The following photographs of the flag rising at the top of the Watertower were taking by Dan Whelan a regular contributor to the forum. Nice collection Dan of the hoisting the flag. The view from above of the parade below is impressive. I managed to get to the top of the Tower last Thursday (without an oxygen mask) which fulfilled a long held wish. Thanks to Matt for facilitating all these discussions.

Hi matt Thanks for posting the shots of the ann .i have aquired the photos from jj ryan of all the parade if you would like a copy. Forgot to give the names of the personell involved in raising the flag if you would not mind entering them please. CAPT RONAN CURTIS MIL COLLEGE. CPL SEAN POLLARD IWW. Was also speaking to LT COL O LOUGHLIN MP SCHOOL he organised the parade and the booklet .his plan is to add the new photographs and some extras and re-release the booklet. If its as good as this one it will be a fine piece of history to have...
