The following photographs were sent to me by Karen Kelly-Markwick. Karen scanned the images from her late Grand Uncle Edward Flanagan's diary of his time as an internee during the Irish Civil War 1921. It is interesting to note that Edward was only fifteen when he was sent to the "Rath Camp" The Curragh.

My grate uncle Edward fennely was also an (IRA) prisoner at Tin Town. He died at there while on hunger strike.

Hi I am Karen Kelly-Markwick (who is responsible for the diary)- My Great Uncle was Edward Flanagan, . Gibbeth and Tin Town are all new names to me.
Looking at this dairy does anyone have any general hstory on the place.
