Hi All,
Another ex Curragh Camp resident has passed away, Buddy Bevan, Pearse has died in Australia. He was brother of Shiela Coyle, Pearse.
Our Deepest Sympathy to Shiela, Tommy their families and Buddy's family on their loss, may he rest in peace.

Thanks for the mention on here. Buddy(Liam)and Tommy went to Australia in '68,and although Tommy has been home 5/6 times over the years,Buddy never returned. He went out on the five week ship journey for £10 when they were looking for tradespeople in the 60's,and he wasn't a great fan of flying at the best of times,even internally in Australia,that probably had something to do with it. An article in a local paper in Oz,which had an online version on the net may be still available for anyone who knows Tommy,just type in Bevan,lord of Murrumbateman(yeah he's a Lord,ha,ha)and it has a recent picture of him there.Anyway thanks folks for the condolences,Noel.

Lord Thomas Bevan passed away at home in Murrumbateman on 27 August 2015. He appears to have passed in his sleep.
He is survived by his daughters Alison and Leah. Lord T was a much loved member of the Murrumbateman Lions club.
