A Shadower’s Lament by JKelly It’s older now, that I gaze back, on days long gone before, And see it all changing now, It’s just a never more. No more sounds of marching feet, As Soldiers marched our busy street. No marching bands upon the square, And by gone days without a care. No more Ice pops bought in Powell’s, No more School days of, ouch!... and howls! No O’ Donnells, to shop within, all that’s left is Brian Maginn. The passing years have paved their way, oh if it were just yesterday. And family homes once lived in, to see them now it’s such a sin. Time waits now for no Man, but I must remember all I can. And pass it on in every way, A Shadower to my dying day.
"Up Pearse"

Hi Johnny Before you came on site I posted all those names and omitted none, from K Lines to Owen Roe Road you did omit a few from the blocks, Middle Block,Mc Bennetts,Count Mc Cormacks Bottom Block Mc Guigans, Sheedy's, Gallaghers, Molloys and Hartleys. I would be obliged if you would give Tom Sweeney a Key ring and stop him crying, you do know that he has an eye problem and maybe this problem could be added to by tears. Regards Your Big Bro, Joe.
