Hi Mary C Haven't heard anything from you since you set out for Adelaide dressed in a leprachaun suit hope all went well!! Obviously communication from there is not accesible otherwise you would have posted by now. Can't believe your holiday has come to an end, the jet lag is always so much worse when you arrive home, and you've experienced temps higher than 40`so its going to be so hard for you to re-adjust to our climate. Dying to see the photos please get in touch when you've settled back home. Best Wishes MaryF

Hiya Kathyo, The site is getting so busy of late that I don't know about you but I'm finding it hard to catch up on all the recent posts when I sign in, thats not a complaint its great that more and more of us are discovering it so I missed your post inviting me and MaryC to join the pair of you over there! Anyway I know how excited you are about going home and would love to be have been able to meet up with you and Eileen over there but, as you so rightly put it work commitments won't allow it as that particular time falls between 2 half terms the February one and the Easter one so if I tried to take any time off in between I'd no doubt be shown the door I'd love to spend St Patricks Day at home, haven't done that in years maybe next year! I believe The Gables as Joey said is a lovely place with the swimming pool and the whole leisure centre so hope you and Eileen have a brilliant time when ye are at home. But you know we don't have to wait for a platoon meeting to get together any time ye're heading to London let me know and we can meet up or just email and I'll send you back my phone number and we can have a good old chat Bye For Now MaryF

Hi All, Adelaide went great at airport in Melbourne now waiting for flight home, will touch down tomorrow at 12.25pm, hate leaving here as its just great, was brought up on charges in kangaroo court, for not knowing what team we were playing, how stupid of me, was givin compass to find my way next time, also was lucky and won 1st prize in raffle and got a free ground package to next tour of duty in Sydney in Nov, so got to get saving, so Kathyo may not make that trip home in March but will do my best, see you all soon.

Hi Eileen and Kathyo, Hi girls bet you two can't wait to get going now how long is it since ye were home? I'm sure you,ll see some big changes hope ye have a fantastic trip great time to go St Patricks Day you'll be sure of some great sessions over there then. Anyway there is a lovely comfy coach that leaves the airport at half past every hour and it has three stops in Newbridge 1 outside the library, then opposite Charlie Ryans and down by Dunnes very reasonable only 10euros takes just over an hour. You can check it out on the website www.dublincoach.ie/Best Regards MaryF

yes that is a great way to travel to and from the airport,
out the main door across the zebra crossing to bus park on the right bus green in colour.
mind the hand bags others think they are entitled to them

Hi Mary C Glad to see you logging on to the site again I have noticed that you've not been posting or even looking in on the forum since you came back from the land of OZ!!! Know how down and low you're feeling right now its very hard to adjust to what is or was normal to us before we visited paradise. You to Oz me to the Maldives I so want to be back there and found it really impossible to get back into a routine here, in fact I never have don't know if I really want to it was such a special time for me ,all down to my son, daughter and daughter in law. But it was my first holiday abroad and WHAT A HOLIDAY all thanks to my kids I will take the memories to the grave with me and beyond Best Regards MaryF
