Hi Matt and all, Know theres been a tragedy seen the photo of the two lads that you posted in the airforce fatigues and the talk of the crash BUT over here we don't get any Irish Stories so don't know whats really happened can you please let me know how to access that story or email it to me. Because I'm sure all us ex pats are in the same position unable to get the most up to the minute and accurate information regards to all. Mary F

So if you do a Google search of The Irish Times, Irish Independent, Evening Herald you will get the latest news on what is happening back home. Another good source of home news is www.rte.ie . But this particular news item is covered on the Irish Defence Forces Web Site. www.military.ie I hope this is of some help. Regards Matt

Yes you are correct, Cadet Jevans is the grandson of ex Capt Jevans who served in the 3rd Battalion. If my memory serves me correctly, ex Capt Jevans also served in Stephens Barracks, Kilkenny.
