Hi Ger Charlies was another haunt of ours many moons ago a good clean pup run by father and son, the barman there for many a year was Paddy Sullivan who was reared in Ceannt Quarters I think he is in O'Rourkes front Street now. I also remember your uncle Jimmy but from the Gravel Pit more so

Hi Andy Charlie Ryan's is not the same now years ago there was always a great buzz full of people waiting to get the bus to the curragh now i think its only open for a few hours every other day since they had the break in took a lot out of the poor chap. Always rem him having the traffic cone at the bus stop so he could reverse the car out of the garage and god help anyone who moved it. I can rem a lady by the name of Daisy serving behind the bar.And yes the gravel pit was where jimmy drank and also pulled the life out of the squeeze box.
