Hi apart from McDonagh and Plunkett there was an ally in Connolly in front of the canteen many an hour was passed by my self there. Also there was a laundry there in front of the old records building and a very kind lady worked there in the mid 1950s her name escapes me.
and then the clothes lines behind the blocks manys the time I nearly garroted my self on a dark evening running home from the canteen with a couple of woodbines for my da it just goes to prove smoking is and was bad for the health.
and final memory for this session the beagles which were housed at the top of the hill where board of works are now, as a lad I used to delight putting my hand into the gap in the wall and the dogs would lick like hell
