Anyone remember when your fathers 303 was kept at home. I have vivid memories of that weapon been kept in the house, my brother and I used to play cowboys and Indians in the house with it. We were able to strip and assemble it and were tasked eventually with cleaning same.
This would be about mid to late 1950'sand we would also dress up with webbing and helmet great auld times

Hi Andybrennan. I trained and fired the 303 and used it for drill on the squre.Can you tell me the musical part of the 303?? Cheers Anthony

How's it going Anthony The only musical part I can think of is the 303 bullet whistling as it shot past the ear.
the army housewives were good, never a word out of them sorry ladies.
Remember the gym belt red with double buckle still have mine and me auld button stick

Hi Andy. Glad to hear back from you the musical part of the 303 is the outer band an old gag really the outer band is part of the rifle.Those housewifes kept quite and we never took them out.Not a lot anyway i wasn't a great hand at the needle work other than giving people the needle.
