The death has occurred of Seamus PURCELL Brownstown, The Curragh, Kildare / Ennis, Clare PURCELL, Seamus (Curragh Downs, Brownstown, The Curragh, Co. Kildare and late of Ard-na-Greine, Ennis, Co. Clare), Company Sergeant Cathal Brugha Barracks, Dublin - 20th April 2016 (peacefully) at his home with his loving family by his side, son of Eileen and the late Johnny; deeply regretted by his loving mother, his loving daughter Victoria, sister, brothers, uncle Seán, cousins, extended family, his kind and caring neighbours, relatives and friends. May Seamus Rest in Peace.Reposing in St. Brigid's Church, The Curragh on Friday from 4.30pm until 6.45pm with prayers at 7pm. Removal on Saturday morning at 9am to arrive at The Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul, Ennis for Funeral Mass at 12 noon with burial afterwards in Drumcliff Cemetery, Ennis. Seamus was one of life’s true gentlemen and a pleasure to have known him. He was a genuine, loyal member of the Defence Forces and a model soldier to all who knew him.
