Served with John in the 3rd Battalion and also trained with his Son Séan in B Coy 3rd Bn.
John was a gentleman may he rest in peace

I was sorry to hear of the passing of John, my deepest sympathy to all of the farrell family, I served with John in the 3rd Inf Bn many years ago, he was always the true gentleman.
