The late C/S Christy McNamara (RIP) The death has occurred of Christy McNamara, Ex. Company Sergeant Army Band, (Moorefield Park, Newbridge, Co. Kildare) - 12th August 2013. Christy; sadly missed by his loving wife Anne, sons Patrick and Derek, daughters Sharon and Julianne, grandson Jordan, granddaughters Kellyanne, Sarah-Louise and Kristie, sisters, brother, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces, extended family, relatives and friends. May He Rest in PeaceReposing at his family home from 3pm on Wednesday until 8pm with rosary at 7.30pm. Removal on Thursday morning at 11.15am to arrive at St. Brigid's Church, The Curragh for 12 noon Mass. Funeral afterwards to St. Conleth's Cemetery, Newbridge. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to St. Vincent's Foundation. Donation box in Church. Condolences to the McNamara family at this time. Christy who was a neighbor since I moved into Moorefield Park always had a kind word and always time for a chat. RIP ChristyMatthew & Deirdre McNamara

Good morning to the McNamara family.I only heard yesterday of the passing of Christy.May he rest in peace.My thoughts and prayers are with you all.I served in the army band with Christy in the early 60's.I remember him well. I just received the sad news about Christy. I always liked to meet up with him when I was home to see my Mother and Father in Moorfield Park. My deepest sympathy to all the family. May He Rest in Peace
