Hi Matt,
Just begun to polish the shoes in readiness for the 24th. Looking forward to meeting former friends and neighbours on the day and if it is half as enjoyable as our family gathering in Co Tipp over the weekend it should make for a lovely day.
Regards, johnd
PS If the shoes get scuffed in the meantime will I still be allowed in?

Hi All The following photographs were sent to me by John Dwyer and were taken at the recent Meet and Greet (Mini Gathering) in The Curragh Camp last Saturday. It was a successful day and there was a steady flow of people through the Curragh Local History Group Museum and The Curragh Military Museum. Thanks to all who spread the word of the event and to all who managed to call in on the day. Matt McNamara

Hi Barbara,
Yes a grand day indeed, and very nice of the Kearney Clan to let myself and Michael Kelly stand in for their photograph.

It was a lovely day as mentioned by previous contributors. Thanks for the kind comments. If I may make a few comments of my own - when lining up the first group photo I jokingly commented that I pay extra for smiles and Andy (extreme right - first group photo) argued a bonus for his high beam output. Secondly a thank you from the sentry to the McNamara family for including him in the joke between Matthew and Son. j
