when you hear the term "old wooden church"you picture something small and insignificant but looking at the pic. of the interior of the east church and see how really beautiful it was...... gives most modern churches a run for their plenary indulgences.

Stunning photos and thanks to Gus Gannon for sharing them.I'v seen the photo of church interior before but never of such sharpness.Now the church on the bottom road across from the "new houses"does anybody have a photo of that ?.
