Ahh Billy me auld friend,
There must have being a wee mist in your eye when you read that post, have another look. I never mentioned any band member as I did remember them but that has now being corrected by Johnny. So next time I run into you the pint is on me, but don't be shy about reminding me as you know how forgetful I can be and to be extra sure print off a copy of this so that I will know I said it.
Hope you are well, I enjoy your input also.
But wait did you not do me out of a pound in the mess in Ceannt on a game of snooker , you got me to look out the window on a black ball and when I looked around it was sank and so was my titanic pocket, so with interest accrued over the years I reckon you owe me two pints, Smithwicks will do nicely

Billy,
No need for Mea culps between old friends, I just did not want to insinuate that you need to go to specsavers.
For concience sake it would be really better if you bought me that pint, not to mention lighter on my pocket, keep well pal.

Re:Boys and Girls Hi BOC/ANDY If memory serves me correctly did this infamous game of snooker not take place in the Mess in the time zone of the 70s/80s and that boc was not actually caught allegeadly cheating? well boc rest easy as the fact is legeally you are not bound to be held for the foolhardiness of the honourable and most noble Andrew of taking the eye off the table would not stand up in a court of law,(1) No witnesses, (2) statute of limitations well gone by, and as being of the same school of learning of the sportsmanship down in sandes under the ever watchful eye of Mrs Carson never would or could one from this school of learning be caught cheating, so therefore Billy you dont have to put the hand deep down into the pocket to buy andy a pint, thats me legal eye looking in now on the other hand i can arrange free legal aid if you want to serve a defamation of good character on the honourable Andy, and i can be judge jury and exacutioner, bye for now Johnny ps Andy its only cheating if you get caught, byeeeeeee

hi all, I'm seeing if anyone remembers my mam, Agnes white (or any other family members), they lived on the Curragh camp 1943-53, and she along with her siblings attended the local school before moving to Kildare. Thanks in Advance

Hi Mandi Allen.
Afraid not as I did not get there till 1954 as a child. If you look in the Married Quarters section there are several Whites mentioned in different Barracks, your granddad should be among them
