Hi all, It is with deep sadness that I learned of the Death of Mrs Behan, my sincere condolences to Johnny, Dickie, Basher and the rest of the family, I have known the Behan family all my life, and particularly when the lads were young and growing up in Pearse. Goodbye can be the saddest word. and often it is not a word we are prepared for. But at a time like this. words that would make a difference are few.... In Sympathy JKelly

To all of the Behan Family, My heart goes out to all of you at the sad loss of your dear mother. She was such a strong character, a woman of substance who at some time as we grew up all of us Pearse kids have a memory of your ma. Me living in London for over 30 yrs ,everytime I met your ma when I was home the one thing that aways struck me was the fact that she hadn't changed one bit she still looked the same and she treated everyone the same. She called a spade a spade You are a big family so you have each other to help yourselves get through this horrible time. My thoughts and prayers are with you now and yet another Pearse Legend sadly leaves us. But Mrs Behan leaves us with so many fond memories that will never fade and that we hold dear. So to the Behan Family I will only say remember, remember rejoice and hold the happy memories close to your hearts, your mother was one in a million.R.I.P to a very Special Curragh Lady who looked after all of us as we grew up I want to say THANK YOU WE DO AND WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER AND SAY THANK YOU MRS BEHAN. R.I.P another important person from our childhood gone never to be replaced but stored in a little place in our hearts Fondest Regards to all the Behan Family Mary Farrell. x My best
