WW2 Irish Military records

My Late Father Patrick Farrell (Dev) served in the army during the "emergency" and I am researching our family history, were can I access these service records? I know that he served on the AA battery in Ringsend Park and also Spike Island, after discharge he went back and worked for many years at Clancy Barracks, I would be grateful for any help or tips as to where to look
