Thanks for all the memories and kind words. My dad lived a long life.Last July we were all called home Dad was in Naas hospital and the doctors gave him hours to live.Next morning he was sitting up in bed drinking tea and eating breakfast. The old soldier was just going to fade away, but not till the following April. The years took their toll on his body but not on his brain. His mind was sharp right up to the end.He died at home in his own room and bed. Thanks to his old army buddies and neighbours who travelled to the funeral.I would have liked to talk to them more but on the day that was not possible. Thanks again from all the Murray family.Even at our age we hate been orphans.
