Queen gives Irish soldier medal for bravery

I made a mistake above, I said my uncle went to Japan with the British army,it was Hong Cong. There's a memorial built in memory of the soldier's. It say's Remembered with honour Sai Wan Memorial. Commemorated in perpetuity by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission
