Hi All,
Do you all remember the chaos in Donnelly Swift's, the counter used to be littered with photographs, yet when you went in to collect snaps he could put his hand on them no bother, the smell of film and the fluids used to develop them, wonder what happened to all of the photographs when he passed away, am sure he had some gems.
I went to school with his daughter Mary, he passed away suddenly at Punchestown Racecourse, he was taking photographs for the Leader. Rose.

Many the photo I have that was taken in Donnelly Swifts - my first communion (which was not today or yesterday), my sisters and brothers first communions and confirmations, family photos, photos with friends they all have the same background!!!
That is a beautiful photo of Carmel - I remember you starting your apprenticeship before becoming the fine hair stylist you were down through the years (probably still are)!
Do you remember the fun and laugh we all had in the Wes at my fathers dance classes and the year you and I won the first medals for the Waltz of Limerick? I wonder where that medal went???
Anyway, great memories stirring up.
