Looking for people with good long memories. I'm trying to gather information about my Grandfather Charles Parkinson who lived in Newbridge and died in 1957 aged 79. My mum tells me that G'dad was 'involved with the horses all his life'. We know that he was trainer on the Curragh. He had 9 children and we know at least one of his sons (Brian)was also a jockey. Would welcome any info at all as G'dads' early life is a bit of a mystery even to his family. Regards Doug

Thank you for the reply, every bit in the jigsaw helps. Does JohnOxx, the Secretary have an email address as I live in Australia. Also, it's not clear from your post as what he is the Secretary of (a Racing Lodge or stables)?
