I was searching some peops I met from Kildare/Curragh and found this web. I met Ciaran & Finbar Hughes when they were in Cologne (along with Gerry OBrien) riding the horses back in '86 and I was an American exchange student living there. I ended up stopping by Kildare on my travels and met a lot of folks(Gerry Hipwell,Paul&Judy Hughes). Ended dating Tim (Seamus) Houlihan for a couple years. Lots of fun memories with everyone. I am going back to Ireland in Oct for the first time in 20yrs and may stop by the area on my travels. Anyone still living there? Sherri

hi all. when i finished school at 13 on a friday an started to work for a farmer/school teacher on saturday, benn working for him for six months or so when he asked me to go along the hedgerow an cut a bundle of hazel sticks for school, i was 14 by then, but i told him to cut his own fn canes an i hopped over the wall to the next door Farmer , got a £1 a weak instead of the £0:10s i was getting from the teacher, and didn't have to work on a sunday. wish i could say i enjoyed my schooldays, except when our teacher had a motorbike accident and we had a replacement , a teacher a Mr kenealey? he had only 3 fingers on one hand, lovely man great at explaining things, learning was a pleasure. edward
