Hi Mary and Scott and to all, I actually have a photo that shows all the members of the Military College in which your Grandfather served, Your Grandfather Dennis a big tall man was rightly a good Gaelic speaker, and instructed all the Cadets who went on to become commissioned Officers in the Irish Defence Forces through the medium of Gaíelge (Irish) as did my Father and so many more of his kind. I will copy the photo and when Mary is home at the end of the month I will gladly pass it on. By the way Mary that restaurant that you could not remember was the Sizzling Hot, it was jointly owned by a few ex army cooks one of whom I remember as Jim Grace, and for the life of me I cannot remember the rest, however I will strive to find out as my own curiousity needs satisfying. Glad you all had a good meet with the Morden Platoon I would have loved to have been there. Scott was your Father Billy or John Joe? as I remember them both, and indeed often went on a few rambles with them in my youth.
Kind regards to you all, And best wishes for Christmas and the New Year. Regards Joey Kelly (Up Pearse!)
