Mick? McCoy, S&T. Probably lived at Connolly M.Qrs. Member of Glenila Ceili Band of late 1950's Frank Brennan, Ordnance, Mc Dermott Bks. Frank was a fabulous Accordion player and also played with the Glenila Ceili Band, as did the late and great Paddy Keane, RIP.

Hi Limerick Indeed I remember Mick Mc Coy, Frank Brennan, and Paddy Keane of The Glenílá Céilí Band. Sadly Mick Mc Coy(a fitter in the Army) Died some years back (RIP) A true gentleman and a great handballer and Married to Josie Heffernan. Mick moved to Morristown Estate Newbridge where I live and Josie is alive and still living here. I have not heard about Frank Brennan since he retired another true blue and would have been on par with the legendary Dermott O' Brien, such was his prowess on the accordian. If they have all passed on by now I am sure that there is a right auld hoolley going on upstairs. Regards Joe Kelly

I can only hope now that someone will, at some future date, locate the whereabouts of Frank Brennan

Anyone from Connelly and Plunket (ate the most) recall the time we scoffed the bin bags of mushrooms (so much) they lasted a week. The event ended with Dr Cahill being deluged because half the population thought they'd being poisoned? And the shops sold out of Milk Of Magnesia.
