Hi to All, I couldn’t access the website for a while, but I got in via the backdoor using the link: curragh.proboards.comI’ve been reading your posts on the blatant destruction of the Curragh Plains. I never thought I would see this. Ironically, not too far away, a protection and preservation order was put on Pollardstown Fen where the government decided not to put the motorway so some rare frogs could be protected. Which is fine I guess? But why not do the same for the Curragh? Afterall, the historical and cultural aspects of the land and its beautiful landscape is indeed unique in Ireland. Tommy H: Thanks for letting us know about the Leader article. I read it on their website and was pissed too. Does anyone have any suggestions on what we should do to correct this wrong? When I’m home I embellish my walks on the Curragh, seeing it being destroyed by machines is painful. Regards, Brendan

Ogham stones Fairy Forts Nothing will be saved in the interest of profit for the greedy. Agh sure twould wear you out. had a look at the planations in the Curragh as I passed through today, like my hair scarce no re planting. It seems that the powers that be will do as they please
