Hi Martin it was where McDonagh Pitch and Putt club is, one of the huts is still there and the club house was done up from the other one.

Hi Tommy do you have any more trivia questions for us, they got us all thinking. What about the names of roads and hills, I rem McSweeney road, O Higgins road, Lord Edwards Hill, Clarke hill, Hospital hill (or was it just called that) i know there are more so maybe someone can fill in the rest.

Martin what was the name of the hill going up from dentist to top of hill was it McMurragh Hill now i am here trying to remember all the names, tommy we need you input here.

McMurragh hill is one from post office down to O'DONNELL'S (bidddy's hill) one your asking me you have meone that one I lived in Clarke side of camp

Hi anyone remember the residents of O higgins Tce 1 to 30. Sadly i used to remember them however have just come to realise i'm begining to loose those valuable grey cells and have lost most names. Can Anyone fill in the gaps ? Thanks for letting me know. For some reason, don't know why, I always thought it was older. Was it true, I think I heard somewhere when I was a child (many years ago) ha, that the girls school was built on an old graveyard? Or was someone having me on! Aisling

Hi Liz Did you know Sergent Georgie ONeill he trained me in McDonnagh Bks 1961. I met his son many years ago in London he use to sell the sunday papers in the dining hall at Plunkett Bks. Hal Stacey worked as dining hall Sergent in Plunkett Bks.Did you go to the dance hall down the hill near the post office.

The two hills at either side of O'Higgins Road, the one to my right Lord Edwards, the one to my left we always called Waters hill, is that the real name or is it just a nickname coz I remember the family that lived there many years ago were Mr. and Mrs. Waters. Maybe someone can tell me? Aisling
