Good morning to you Andy. Whereabouts can I find those military archives? Would love to read especially Congo Joe's account.I'm sure He and daddy served over there together in 1963. Meet him a few times at McDonagh pitch and Putt. A truely lively/lovely man. The laughs of the two of them when they meet up and exchange stories is something else... MaryF

Must be catching, i'v been summoned to my local hospital on Saturday 9th, after 2 years I thought I was forgotten about.

"What part of the country are you in? Milton Keynes if my memory serves me right". you are right, came to Milton Keynes after the general building strike in 72 I was a plasterer, last job I done before coming MK was plaster a squash court in Beckenham Kent.

Andy, try putting on your oxygen mask, then your oxygen is turned off at the tank an you are told to walk up them tower steps as far as you can without any air.
