Hi all, A question i've pondered over many times and can't answer...... The answer is proberly different for everyone. I wondered how I might choose? If I was given a choice to live back in the Curragh as it was at its best, where the Curragh was Buzzzing with life,( but could only go back still remaining at my age of 37). Or I could be a teen again. I had a wonderful youth and wouldn't change it but what do we miss more the old Curragh or , our young selves......

Ken. A mixture of both but the Curragh as it was stands out. Meeting on a saturday morning and all the gang running away from home just to be back in time for tea and no one missed us. The freedom and safety the Curragh offered was second to none

Free swimming in the baths every day - running in the school sports and also the kids race every year at the army sports not forgetting the sprints to the bookies across the plains, had to have an everlasting positive effect on our old tickers.
