Hi Matt Andy Mary ang Ger, Thank you all for your best wishes on celebrating my Big 50 birthday Had a great day, night and morning celebrating and still dont feel a day over 40 today, long may it last. Mary, Curly did not leave my house till 7.ooam. What a night we had chatting about to good old days. Good crowd of ex curragh people were at the party, which was great, kind of like a reunion in one way Mrs Goff was also there, she is a great woman, she love nothing more than a crowd of curragh people getting together All the best, Olive

Hi Olive, Belated happy birthday wishes to you. Sounds like you had a great day, night and morning!!! Only catching up on reading the posts on the forum as I was away for the weekend (celebrating my birthday, as it happens we both have our birthday on the same day). Have not seen you for a long time but I do drop in on the forum quite a lot and love reading all the posts, maybe we will see one another round and about shortly.

)Hi all, I'm wondering if anyone can help me any information on Ann Savage or her brother Frankie from o'Higgins Tce? She was in the same class as me and Rose and we were really great friends. The family moved to Naas and manys a happy weekend I spent in with them always had a great time lovely people Mr and Mrs Savage R.I.P. treated me like one of there own. I worked in McGoverns in Newbridge and Ann's sister was married to Noel McGovern. Ann worked there on Saturdays and school holidays. She moved to London 75/76 to do nursing and I went over several times and stayed in the nurses home with her 2 Curragh girls sampling city life the craic was good.I lost touch with Ann in the late 70's and have been trying to trace her for years with no luck I'm just hoping someone on the forum might know something that might help me! Frankie her younger brother joined the army and I think he moved to Athy but not certain about that. Anyway if anyone can give me any news on either of them I'd love to hear from them. Bye for now, Mary F

Nice one Daithi, 'cos we moved in when ye left! You went to school with my brother Sean, if I remember correctly, and your dad worked in the stores in Pearse, where we lived before we evicted the Byrnes!
I think ye went to Shannon? And you were handy at the soccer?
Regards.
