Are we capable of dealing with a terrorist attack, as we are lead to believe by some ministers,
If not who we going to call " Ghost Busters" ?

Hi Andy. I thought we had special forces in the i Irish defence forces. I was also thinking the Irish republic are not involved in bombing in Syria
Mind i,m sure these IS may attack any place. Hard to stop people who are willing to turn themselves into bombs. My Sympathy goes out to all those hurt and murdered in France and their families.
May they rest in peace.
Tony.

Hi all in answer to the query are we ready to defend against a terrorist attack? T.he simple answer is NO,as it is proven from incidents all around the world is that it is far too difficult to stop or prevent any terrorist group/individual from getting by security cordens lockdowns etc, yes we do have special forces and the ERU(gardai) and with Shannon airport being used by the Yanks to travel into the conflicts in the middle east, etc we are a target. even the Israeli army cannot stop mad bombers doing harm inside Israel it was by chance that the 2 terrorists were spotted just outside the Stadium in Paris imagine what could have happened if they got inside the grounds.itgoes to wonder. bye for now keep well/saqfe Johnny
