HI Matt,
Have to say am looking forward to this particular Hop on the 12th Sept. Fergie and his music has being part the Curragh and surrounds for so long and has played for so many families both Curragh and elsewhere.
Hope to see a big crowd the word is being passed to any one foolish enough to stop and talk to me.
Andy

Open day on the 30th.
I was looking forward to being part of this day, Matt had me designated for high places and I was ready with some tall tales but alas it will not be due to a prior engagement. Ah such is life.

Hi Andy, Billy and assorted contributors,
Called home yesterday and had Lofty look at the car in advance of a long trip, he kindly was going to drop me off at the CLHG Band hall where I would look in to see how it was going on open day. On arrival greeted by barred gates and total silence. I had beaten everyone to the Open Day by a full week. Is this a club record as DJ Pearson might say?
Recently bought boxes of memory mints to try and cure the senior moments, if anything they are becoming more frequent. Lads if you have found any cure you might pass it on.
Regards,
Johnd

Good man JohnD.
Better early than late, consider it as a dress rehersal for the grand day, on the bright side you did get the motor done.
Sat open day sure to be a great success.

Mea Culpa Billy.
The open day is Sat 30th Aug from 11am till 4pm,
There was talks of having the clock tower open for viewing not for climbing but viewing from inside, also the water Tower tour to the top was envisaged. A trip to where the Families hospital once stood. The CLHG museum as well as the Military one. Documents and records on display to include talks on same the auld backbone of the Curragh Camp the cup of tea. And more that this polo of a memory cannot recall I must be using the same mints as John D. Glad you are back to yourself and showing such an interest. Hope to get there for some part of the afternoon Andy
