We lived in Clarke til we moved to O'Higgins Tce in 1968 and remember all our great neighbours well. The Farrells, the Hanleys, the McBrides, the Fennells, the O'Neills, the Keanes, the Callaghans, the Pearsons, the Caffreys and many many more. Remember the toilets at the end of the verandah, happy days! Anyone else out there remember the Coughlans.

Great to see you contacted the forum. Last time I heard you were 'down under' in Aussie land. Hope all is well. I met Mick when I was home last year.
Best regards,

Hi Johnny, I lived on O'Higgins Tce and know your family. Can't place you but I do rem Jackie & see Robbie often. Worked with his wife Sheila for a while. You may rem my older brother Sean Kearney or sisters Angela or Marie. I have a memory of two boys, Ryan I'm sure was one of them but can't rem name of the other, but I do recall the other boy was climbing on the roof of the old swimming pool & fell thru the glass panel. We all watched in horror as an ambulance arrived. Am I right in thinking they may have been nephews of yours??? Must also add that I see your Mum often & she always waves. She probably only knows me as Jan & Luke's daughter. A real lady.

Hi all , I rem well living in clarke, in the summer time especially, we used to hang clothes line rope over the veranda to make swings. We couldn't get great height swinging without hitting the wall so we would line them up to swing in through the front door. Happy days.

Hi Johnny, Are you Ellens Brother? We were friends in and after school.I remember she always had the latest fashions and she worked in Austin o Donnell's Boutique next door to the supermarket on the bottom road, and if I 'm not mistaken she later worked in Annie Bec's boutique down the side street by Eddie O Connors in Newbridge.
