Hello, I heard there is a Luger rifle at the Curragh Military Museum and I was wondering if anyone knew anything about it. I searched all over on the web but have not found much besides what is mentioned in this article: www.forgottenweapons.com/early-semiauto-rifles/german-luger-rifle/The reason I ask is because so little is known about these rifles and there are probably only a handful that still exist. There is literally almost no information about it anywhere or pictures. I have read over the patent included in the above article but the drawing of the internals is just the basic design of how this rifle would function. I am working on trying to recreate the rifle and create blueprints for it so that a new one can be produced. I am deeply fascinated by this particular design and an admirer of the Luger pistol, so I was hoping someone on this forum knows more about the rifle or has some more detailed pictures of the gun. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Ryan

Hi Rtan Think that this rifle doesnt exist here. There was a discussion about it on boards.ie/shooting,and it was mistaken for just as a unique piece in the Curragh armoury.A Full auto Luger pistol carbine based on a Luger artillery model. Hope this helps.
