I lived in 25 and 28 O'Higgins road, next door to Sean Tracey. I do not remember Sean, but my older brother David would. I remember your dog Mosney.I hung around with Jockser Kelly and Dick Reids sons(forget their names). We ended up living in number 36, the headmasters house beside the Dempseys.Great to be able to read some of the replys, and relive some fantastic memories. I have always said it was the greatest place in the world to grow up in.

My family lived in Ceannt originally (before I was born). We lived in 22 O'Higgins Rd first then in 30 O'Higgins Tce. I always thought we had a big house until I revisted the Curragh to discover how small it was. Wondered how Billy & May reared such a big family there. When in 22 O'Higgins Rd, we had an extra bedroom which originally belonged to No 23. We had great neighbours and a great life on the curragh. Jim Noone is my cousin and we had great times at his house at Fire Station.

[Hi Kathleen Just browsing and found your notes. There were many times when I had some Col Cannon in your house in O Higgins Road, when Don and I were going to school together, it was in the very early sixties although Don and I started school in 1954, in the old green huts just 10 yards from your home, they were directly in front of Ceannt Mqrs.
Hope you are keeping well and that I have the right Kathleen Mc Grath!

Born on the curragh in the families hospital in '71 & lived in 3 Ceannt Terrace. Moved to 15 Clarke Terrace in '74 & stayed til '84, then moved to 6 O'Higgins Terrace. Sadly left the Curragh in '86 to move to Newbridge. Heart always stayed in the curragh though.

I'm originally a Kearney & lived in 13 O' Higgins Tce from about '76 to '94. My parents still live there. Our neighbours at the time were Caffreys in 12 & Moores in 14. Many great memories of growing up in the curragh.

Hi Sean, I have very strong memories of being at the back of your house with Jason, almost sure it was you testing out a radio controlled helicopter. You had bricks on the skis, holding it down. Was it you or Colm??? Very early 80's.
