Hi Gene, Thanks for your reply, if you haven't been back to the curragh recently you would see big changes, a lot of houses have been demolished. The tech is still there, we had some good laughs in the tech. Take Care Mary

Does anyone know where, Kenneth Kramer, Mark Dwyer are we went to the tech around the same time and use to sneak up to the top of the water tower along with others whom I'm sad to say I can't remember their names been out of the Curragh too long it would have been between 77-79. Also Maeve Rainbow, Lorraine Sheridan, Ursula Delaney, Mary Sheehan, Antoinette Foley, Mary Sullivan, Paula Lynch, Elizabeth Shine. I thought I was on a roll there can't remember anymore but you know who you are. Tech 76-79.
Thanks Mary

Hi Geraldine. I remember those teachers, if my memory serves me right Mr Healy was the history teacher, Donoghue was either geography or maths, Mr Flynn the head, and Mrs Costigan I think was the typing and that in third year. Does anyone remember who was the domestic science teacher was that Mrs Costello as not sure about her. Are any of these teachers still in the tech I'm thinking of paying a visit when I next come home. I loved the tech, I also remember the discos there and when some of the lads hid in the toilet while the teachers locked up, then when they left we went back in and carried on with the music. Fun days. Mary

Hi Carroll, MR Healy is the only one (History Geography and English) left from that era,Mr Flynn is still alive and well and was in the school a few months ago for Mr Donoghue's retirement he was maths and science and finished as Head. I can picture the domestic science teacher but can not rem her name I don't think it was Costello.

Hi Tommy and Andy thanks for information, I'm still not sure with Mrs McDonagh as the domestic science teacher the name doesn't ring a bell, but maybe I'm wrong it was 30 years ago, where has the time gone. The one thing that sticks in my mind was during sewing class she was on the sewing machine and all she kept saying was 'Nobody cares nobody cares', I can just picture her now arm going round and round. I'm planning on coming home in November so I must pay a visit, I love to go see all the old haunts. Thanks again
Mary
