Hi Mag I remember your father well, he chased me once in his green VW I think it was, he did'nt catch me by the way I had too much practice at that stage in my career. I also went to school with your brother Eddie. Best wishes for the New Year, Liam Kearney.

Hi Mag, I remember your da Skip[MrKavanagh] to us young ones!! My thoughts are with you, 41years is a long, long time but, for you and your family I bet the deep loss is still as painful today as it was way back then. Time is a great healer as they say but for some when it comes to our loved ones anniversary, time stands still and that dreaded day is relived at the same time and pace as the day it happened! we relive that fateful date every year. Its our way of keeping our dearly departed family close to us, we don't want to let go, life goes on and we bring them along with us in our thoughts, hearts and memories. As long as we do that they live on. Memories are indeed wonderful things, lets not ever forget them. You've got my mob no.Mag give us a bell if you want to meet up. Regards Maryf

Hi All The following photograph was sent to me by Helen Middleton (O’Brien) and shows some Curragh children marching with pipers by what looks like “C Block” McDonagh ? Anthony O’Brien is one, can you name the rest? Thanks to Helen for her photograph. Matt

Hi Matt The four musketeers in the photo are L/R Pop Hayes, Ants O Brien? Fergie Heffernan, and Guvvy Pendergast. Not quite sure if it is Ants O Brien and I think it may be a younger brother, as Anthony is Older than the other three Regards JoeyK

Hi Johnny Late again with your input of the names, however I still think that that is Not Anthony O Brien, but it may be his younger brother Edward, as Anthony was way older than any of the lads in the Picture. Or maybe they were in Anthony's Gang! I will be making a copy of it and will present it to Ants, and he will lay this question to rest. Your Big Bro Joe Jkelly

Me again Just looking at the lads in the photos again, and it brings back the dress code of the times. Runners, Sandals, dirty knees. mismatched Jumpers, Ties were rare! and only for Sunday's and just look at the Old School Bag hanging around Guvvy Prendergast's Neck, Last on the Right. Lads probably not going to School, but on there way to borrow a few apples from the Fruit Farm. Regards JKelly

Hi all I guess that I was right about the Musketeers in the band photo, all along it is in fact, Edward O'Brien and not Anthony. Verified by Anthony, this photo actually appeared in the Irish Press. Whatever happened to tallest on the right, shortest on the left?. Regards JoeyK
