Mary F and Andy, I suppose I better come clean Iam in the process of creating a data base of occupants of married quarters from day one to the eighties Iam coming to the end of pearse just officers and a few of the stand alone houses like Owen roe etc to do ,Its a lot of work but I have to say Iam enjoying it so far,The mind drifts from time to time especially when I come to the familiar names the memories come back. PS Andy no sign of my key ring yet! Tommy S

Tommy S,
Your honesty knows no bounds.
Now that is a real interesting data base on par or even greater than the school roll. Is it a personnal project or part and parcel of the job.
If Johnny does not come across with the key ring by Christmas then you will have to wait till next year

Andy,
Its Just something that I saw that was going to be lost forever and I was in a position to rescue it. I hope at the end of it all probably in a year or so I will be able to give it to matt to make available to everyone to see.

Hi TommyS Wow! that will most certainly be a wonderful piece of history for all of us to look back on and for all who come after us to study. Its great of you to have taken the task on board for all of us, god you Pearse lads are certainly coming up trumps lately makes a Pearse girl feel so proud Good luck with the research and enjoy getting reaquainted with all the old friends and former residents! Now Johnny I think Tommy deserves at least a medal for the historical data he's selflessly recording, and everyone will benefit from it. So with him having so many doors and windows to open collecting all the residents particulars he is going to need a solid sturdy key ring to help him in his quest you know its to right thing to do, and you won't regret it plus you'll make him a very happy camper not to mention the poor postman whos fed of of being stalked by Tommy! MaryF up Pearse!!!

Anyone remember the Regans, Terese and Pascal they lived next door to us, they left the Curragh very young, c'mon Rose you must, they were lovely people, also Johnny Edgar and Archie, when Archie died his dog whined for weeks, and still went to meet the bus every day looking for Archie, can't remember his second name, Johnny moved to Kildare, he always let me stay in his house when i mitched from school, the convent in Kildare with the nuns from hell.
