Hi Eileen, Have you read the last posts? me give Johnny a break why? Hes backing the winning team Man U. and he has his friend Sean the leprachaun to back him up too and the pair of them are rubbing my nose in it because the scousers[Liverpool] have been losing a lot recently!!!!!!!!!!!!! So they need to give ME a break. I need some support, so do Liverpool at the moment. Is there anyone out there to join me in a rendition of YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE? Bye for Now MaryF

Hi Joey,
Will our tour of the Curragh take in the betting shop, I remember it being in a little black hut in Brownstown, often went there to place a bet on Lester Piggot for me Mam, don't remember her ever winning anything though. My husband assures me that 'I'm so Lucky' will win the 4.00 p.m. at Cheltenham on Thursday 18th - so I might just put a few shillings on it!
Kind regards.
Eileen

Re: YOU CANT TAKE IT WITH YOU Hi EILEEN There is still another betting shop in brownstown in the old Sam Wellers bookie shop if not Joey knows some offices in newbridge, anyway I think you would be better off backing the favourettes EITHER e/w or win. Johnny

Hi Folks. I'm sure some of the punters were fitter than the horses they backed after clocking up the miles from the Curragh to Brownstown in haste to get their bets on. Just think a bet every day shanks mare would be kept fit in the old days. Well come on as Andy say the tipsters from the Curragh must be the best top form help us end the Cheltenham with a fistful of dollars or at least a few dollars more. I just hope i don't end up with empty pockets or the Mrs may put me in the doghouse Woof. I Reckon Padroy will keep us on track.I hear there's a cup for the best tipster to be presented by old eight stars himself. Cheers Com Ant

Joey
Them two were not your best tips, I do believe that you will improve in the art of forcasting as the week goes by.
