Hi Mary, Yes it was the same, I know Noel better by his nickname anyway we had a great day. I slipped up by not putting a message on the site prior to the day, take it as a lesson learned for the future

Hi Tommy Thanks fo that, when he said he was going to a re-union I thought he meant a school re-union, but forgot he didn't spend much time there. I suppose that nickname was beetle unless he was known as something else unbeknown to us. Glad it was a good day.

Hi All, Nice to see so many old faces on the net taken on Cavalry Day 2009. Had I know that AFC was going to be there I would have gladly have gate crashed just to have a Pint with him, I meet Joe Coughlan very often, he has never lost his sense of humour even though he just turned 70 lately. The only link I had with the Cav was through my Father - in - Law, Peter Quinn and my brother Sharkey myself just a humble Engineer. Perhaps next year we might arrange to meet and talk.
Regards to all the Cav

Hi ant nearly pulled off a deserved win on sat but went asleep in the second half to give away 3 points that the wombles deserved tohave in the bag but thats football for ya. keep the faith as they seem to be getting their act together this season. my reds are still in the mire but they seem to be mad about signing fowards and wingers when the world and his dog can see that they need defenders. bye for now johnny
