Now some of these names maybe stretching the famous tag to the limit.Did Pat Kenny do a radio programme from the Curragh Camp one Christmas.How about Paddy Crosby doing "The School around the corner".President Hillery in 1981.Stirling Moss was one of the racing drivers who did the Curragh motor racing in the early 50s.My dad Sgt.Joe Murray remembers Brendan Behan as a guest of the nation in the Interment Camp .He told me he never tied his boot laces.Not to forget Elizabeth Sandes founder of Sands Soldiers Home.

Bunny Carr hosted Quicksilver on the Camp in the sixties, recorded in the new gym. All contestants were male and in uniform if my memory serves me right. Remeber "STOP THE LIGHTS" it was the catchphrase on everyones lips then.
