Hey Ant.I was asking the question.Anyway, there was a time when Dixie and Olive parted company for how long,i don't know.I happened to take Olive to the pictures one night after Maureen O'Brien and i parted company, but trust me,we both behaved ourselves. If the truth be known,i would not have had a clue as to what to do all those years ago. However,i have to say, what a wonderful kisser she was.Chow for now.Good to chat.Take care.P.S. I do believe that Dixie wed a Mary Farrell.Don't know what happened to Olive.Do you?

Reference the photo submitted by Tommy Mills some names to go to it. this photo was taken in the 3rd Bn in 1969 when the general call up was given at the time of the troubles in the North when the refreugees were coming down south for refuge, to escape the trouble in the North. the chap pulling the beard is tango dooley, fergie houlihan in the beard, dunkey sweeney behund fergie, tommy mills standing leaning on the stairway, georgei o'brien sitting on bottom step. up the stairs jimmy(piston)rowan mick timmons. these are the names that spring to mind at the moment. some of the lads stayed on in the army after their reserve service terminated the rest went back to England and elsewhere, jude maguire does not feature as he would have been only 7/8 yrs old at this time.the chap sitting behind george o'brien does look like a wilson but joe had dark hair? ger had blond hair. bye for now Johnny
