The following photograph was sent to me by Carmel Burke (Kearney) and was taken at an art exhibition in Newbridge last night and shows the work of Emma Campbell, daughter of Tommy Campbell, originally from the Curragh. Matt

As always when i hear a name i always ask.............as in Emmas would you be any relation to the Campbells from the Curragh... so i asked could i have this photo taken, Emma is a lovely girl and i love her art which is still showing(for the next 3 weeks) in the ALL SEASONS restaurant in Newbridge, the laneway that also has the school book shop, really worth a look.

Hi Carmel,
I also on hearing a surname look for a Curragh connection.
I wish young Campbell all the best with her exhibition and her future ones.

How are you Pat, enjoying your retirement are you, and keeping well i hope. I have left O.B.W on transfer to the water works in the Camp. working between the swimming pool and Hare park and McDonagh pumping stations. for the next 2 years. until retirement. maybe Joey might call in for a little drop of good Curragh water. keep well Johnny
